Sundaramma (80), wife of Prof. P. Venkataramaiah, former Vice-Chancellor of Kuvempu University and a resident of Vishwamanava Double Road, Kuvempunagar, passed away in the early hours of today at a private hospital.

She leaves behind her husband, two sons and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon.
