SWR Ticket Checking Staff provide ration kits to licensed porters, house-keeping staff

May 17, 2020

Mysore/Mysuru: In yet another show of humanitarian concern for the licensed luggage porters and station house-keeping staff, badly affected because of the cancellation of passenger-carrying trains, ticket checking staff of South Western Railway (SWR), Mysuru Division, have pooled their resources to provide ration kits to about 97 persons who depend on train services for their livelihood.

Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Aparna Garg has lauded the noble gesture of ticket checking staff of Mysuru Division and hoped such acts of compassion and kindness towards fellow citizens in dire situations would help in creating goodwill, according to a press release from Priya Shetty, Divisional Commercial Manager and PRO.
