Syed Hussain Ahmed (78), son of late Syed Abdul Wahab of Wimco Matches in Santhepet and a resident of Kabir Road in Lashkar Mohalla here, passed away on Saturday in London following brief illness.

He leaves behind his wife, three sons, daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

He was the brother of Syed Shafi Ahmed, retd. Executive Engineer at PWD and President of Anjuman-e-Hadeeqathul Adab, Mysuru. Namaz-e-Janaza and burial was held today in London.
