Syed Najeeb Ur Rahman (70), son of late Syed Abdur Rahman, former MLC and brother of Dr. Syed Shakeeb Ur Rahman, retired Principal of SJCE, passed away here yesterday following a brief illness.

A resident of Bannimantap C-Layout, he leaves behind his wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Namaz-e-Janaza will be held today after Namaz-e-Zohar at Masjid-e-Dargahi on Sawday Road in Mandi Mohalla, followed by the burial at Old Khabarasthan, behind Central Jail in city.
