T. Thimmaiah (73), a resident of Lingambudhi Palya here, passed away last night following age-related ailments.

A native of Bhadravati in Shivamogga, Thimmaiah had served as KPTCL employee for 38 years at Ranebennur and Byadgi taluks in Haveri district and had settled in Mysuru after retirement.

He leaves behind his son T. Manjunath (Senior Reporter of Vijayavani), a daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Lingambudhi Palya Burial Grounds this afternoon.
