Kandera Gangamma (Baddira), retired teacher and a resident of S.V. Regency, Hinkal Ring Road, passed away yesterday evening in city. She was 90. Wife of late Kandera S. Muddappa, she leaves behind three sons and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Muktidhama in Vijayanagar 4th Stage this noon.

Udiyanda Kiran Kuttaiah (55), son of late Babu Aiyanna and a resident of N.R. Mohalla, passed away this morning in city. He leaves behind his wife Vivina Kuttaiah (Keethiyanda), son Manav Aiyanna Kuttaiah and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon.

H.M. Swamy (86), a resident of Hirikati village in Gundlupet taluk of Chamarajanagar, passed away yesterday in the village. He leaves behind two sons including Chamarajanagar District BJP Vice-President Hirikati Somashekar, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at the village this afternoon, according to family sources.

Shashikumar (37), a resident of Kalkunike in Hunsur town of Mysuru district, passed away on Monday in the town. He is survived by his mother and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at the family’s farm land on K.R. Nagar Bypass Road, according to family sources.

Manikya (58), a Pourakarmika at Nanjangud City Municipal Council, passed away following brief illness on Sunday. He leaves behind his wife Rani, four daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held in the evening on the same day.

Mallika Jan (81), wife of late Sattar Baig and a resident of N.R. Mohalla, passed away on Apr. 21 in city. She leaves behind 2 sons, 2 daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Burial took place after Asar prayers at Muslim Burial Grounds near Tipu Circle the same day.
