‘Taruna Bharathi’ programme tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: Ganabharathi, Mysuru, has organised ‘Taruna Bharathi’ programme tomorrow (Dec. 9) on the occasion of Vidu. Chokkamma Memorial Day at Veene Seshanna Bhavan in Kuvempunagar.

6 pm to 7.15 pm: Veena recital by Vid. Prajwal Rangaraju accompanied by Vid. Vikram Bharadwaj on mridanga.

7.15 pm to 8.30 pm: Vocal recital by Vid. Anjali Raveendra. She will be accompanied by Vid. C.V. Shruthi on violin and Vid. Vikram Bharadwaj on mridanga.

Vid. Prajwal Rangaraju was initiated to Veena by his mother Pushpa at the very early age and continued with Vid. Prashanth Iyengar for nearly 8 years. At present, he is practicing with Guru Vid. D. Balakrishna. He has been awarded by many prestigious institutions.

Vid. Anjali Raveendra has a Master’s degree from Jain University, Bengaluru, in Performing Arts and Karnatak Music. At present, she is a serving in Dr. L. Subramanyam Academy of Performing Arts.
