Mumbai: The Senior Men’s Selection Committee of BCCI announced the 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2017 this morning. BCCI had missed the Apr. 25 deadline following issues with the International Cricket Council (ICC) over revenue sharing.

Amidst speculations that BCCI might pull out of the tournament, the Board decided to send its team during the Special General Meeting held yesterday.

Rohit Sharma and Mohammed Shami, who were out with injuries, will make a comeback and K.L. Rahul will miss out due to injury. The committee has dropped Amit Mishra from the team.

India, the defending champions, is in Group B with Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka. The Virat Kohli-led team begins its campaign against Pakistan on June 4 at Edgbaston, will face Sri Lanka on June 8 and South Africa on June 11.  The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-final.
