TechBytes: Eighth edition of IT Quiz for engineering students

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading IT Services, consulting and business solutions organisation, and the Board for IT Education Standards (BITES), an autonomous agency promoted by Government of Karnataka in association with IT industries and educational institutions, are rolling out the eighth edition of the Engineering IT Quiz – TCS TechBytes.

The quiz is open for students of engineering colleges (BE/B.Tech) of all semesters and streams.

TCS TechBytes, a campus outreach programme strives to provide a better understanding of IT to students of all streams of engineering. The objective is to enhance the knowledge and awareness of students and enable them to compete in the fast paced technology intensive industry.

Each institution can send 10 teams (two students per team) to participate in the Regional Finals of the quiz through an internal selection process. There is no participation fee. The Regional Level Quiz will be conducted at the following six locations: Mangaluru – March 2, Mysuru – March 4, Hubballi – March 7, Kalaburagi – March 9, Tumakuru – March 14 and Bengaluru – March 21. The State Finals will be held at Bengaluru on March 21.

Winners at both the Regional and State Finals will receive educational scholarships and other attractive prizes from TCS.
