Technical skill development prog.

The Departments of Electronics & Communication Engineering and Telecommunication Engineering of GSSSIETW, Mysuru in association with Advanced Electronics System, Bengaluru, and IETE had organised a three-day ‘Technical Skill Development Programme’ for 4th semester ECE and TCE students at its premises in city recently.

The programme was an initiative to establish a Embedded System Project Lab.

Sunil Shambatnavar, General Manager, ALS, Bengaluru, gave a brief introduction on the need and impact of the three-day workshop. K.S. Nandish and H.S. Naveen, Senior Customer Support Engineers from Advanced Electronics System, Bengaluru, gave a presentation on the  basics of Electronics Components and on working of Mini projects  like Smoke alarm, Heat alarm, Metal detector, Touch alarm, Electronic harmonium etc.  

Dr. M. V. Sathyanarayana, Professor & Head, ECE Dept, Dr. B.D. Parameshachari, Professor & Head, Dept. of TCE, Prof. S. Padmashree, Programme Coordinator, staff and students of ECE and TCE were present.
