Three-day film-making workshop in city from Sept. 22

Mysore/Mysuru: The Film Festival Sub-Committee of Dasara Mahotsav-2022 has organised a three-day film-making workshop at Rani Bahaddur Auditorium in Manasagangothri on Hunsur Road here from Sept. 22 to Sept. 24.

Film Director Nagathihalli Chandrashekar will inaugurate the workshop on Sept. 22 at 10 am. Renowned Director of Kannada films Champa P. Shetty, Kodlu Ramakrishna, Pawan Kumar, Pannaga Bharana, Aravind Kaushik, N. Shankar and Manso Re will be the resource persons.

Only 200 members will be allowed to take part in the workshop and all the participants will receive certificates.

Dasara Film Festival

The Dasara film festival is scheduled between Sept. 26 and Oct. 3.  The movies will be screened at one screen in at DRC Cinemas (B.M. Habitat Mall, Jayalakshmipuram) and three screens in INOX (Mall of Mysore, M.G. Road). There will be four shows in each screen and in all 112 films will be screened.

Kannada movies, panorama cinemas and world cinemas will be screened. The registration for the film festival can be done by logging on to Department of Information and Public Relations website https://dipr.karnataka.gov.in/english from Sept. 12. For offline registration candidates must submit a copy of their identity card.
