Three held for selling fake branded phone accessories

Duplicate accessories worth about Rs.75,000 seized

Mysuru: Sleuths of City Crime Branch (CCB) and Lashkar Police personnel, who raided Neminath Telecom, M.K. Telecom and Mahalakshmi Accessories on K.T. Street on Sept.6 following information that these shops were selling fake Apple phone accessories, have arrested three persons and have seized fake accessories worth about Rs.75,000 from the shops.

The arrested have been identified as Sajjan of Neminath Telecom, Narfat of M.K. Telecom and Ramesh of Mahalakshmi Accessories.

A case has been registered at Lashkar Police Station in this regard.

DCP N. Vishnuvardhana and CCB ACP B.R. Lingappa supervised CCB Inspectors Krishnappa and Prasanna Kumar, Lashkar Police Sub-Inspector Raju, CCB Sub-Inspectors L. Subashchandra, Javaregowda and Sridhar and staff Murali Gowda, Joseph, Noronha, Purushotham, P. Kumar, Lashkar ASI Doddaiah and staff Mahadev, Rajesh and Shekar in the nabbing and seizing operation.
