Three mobile phone thieves arrested, 33 handsets seized

Mysuru: The Railway Police have arrested three mobile phone thieves in separate incidents and have recovered 33 handsets including some high-end ones. The arrested are 23-year-old K. Albin and 22-year-old Abhilash from Besagarahalli in Koppa hobli of Mandya district and M. Suresha of Gundlupet in Chamarajanagar. The thieves used to target train passengers. Either they would divert their attention and take away the phones or they would snatch the phones while people are on call.

The Police have informed persons who have lost their mobile phones to collect the handsets from the Railway Police Office.
