Safari goers capture fierce fight on camera at Nagarahole

Hunsur: A video of two roaring tigers fighting each other fiercely over territory at Nagarahole Tiger Reserve has gone viral on social media, giving safari goers the spectacle of the mighty beasts clashing among themselves.

The fight between the two tigers took place yesterday near Marappana Kere at Nagarahole and the fight was witnessed by numerous tourists, who had gone on a safari. The tourists not only captured videos and photos on their cameras and mobile phones but also uploaded the same on various social media platforms.

The tigers, which fought fiercely for some time, went their ways later. Usually, when two tigers fight for territory, the result will usually end with the death of one of the tiger or both tigers getting injured seriously.

Wildlife experts say that tigers usually fight between themselves in connection with their territorial boundaries.

This is one of the rarest of the rare incidents where humans can spot tigers getting involved in such fierce fights among themselves and, this time, it was witnessed by the tourists who managed to capture the rare moments on camera.
