Mysuru: Sree Andal Mandiram Trust, Temple Road, V.V. Mohalla and Hebbar Sri Vaishnava Upasabha (Rural), Mysuru, have organised a month-long Dhanurmasa Puja discourse on Tiruppavai by Vidwan Ramanuja Sharma between Dec.16 and Jan. 13 every evening from 6 pm to 7.30 in the Trust premises.
On Dec. 15 at 6 pm, Karnatak Classical Music Programme by S. Raghunandan has been organised.

Vidwan Ramanuja Sharma is the son of Mudumbai Narasimhachar from Melukote who was very popular for rendering discourses. Ramanuja Sharma, after early education in Melukote, completed his M.A., B.Ed., Praveen exams in Hindi, Sahitya exams in Sanskrit and also examinations in Dravida Divya Prabandhams.
He has served for three decades in teaching profession. He has authored many books, some of them are “Sahitya Alankara Dharma Shastra Vedanta,” “Ramanujacharya’s Jeevana Charitreya Ondu Adhyayana” based on Prapannamritham.
Vidwan Ramanuja Sharma has been giving discourses in Mysuru for the last many years under the aegis of many organisations.
‘Tiruppavai Kalakshepa’ at Sri Ramamandira
Hebbar Sri Vaishnava Upasabha, KR Vanam, too has organised discourse on ‘Tiruppavai Kalakshepa’ by Dr. N.K. Ramaseshan from Dec. 16 to Jan. 16 at Sri Ramamandira in Krishnamurthypuram from 6.15 pm to 7.30 pm daily.
Koodaraivellum will be celebrated on Jan. 12 at the venue.
