Tourist guide ends life at Bandipur

Gundlupet: A 56-year-old tourist guide, who was said to be depressed in life, committed suicide at a resort near Bandipur, where he stayed,  late on Thursday night.

Kuttappa (56) of Masinagudi in Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu, bordering Karnataka, is the deceased.

Kuttappa, who was also a naturalist, worked as a tourist guide for over 10 years and stayed at a  resort near Bandipur. 

But Kuttappa, who was said to be suffering from domestic issue and debts, ended his life late on Thursday night and the incident came to light on Friday morning, it is learnt.

Gundlupet Police have registered a case in this regard.
