Traffic diversion for Maharaja’s College Grounds event tomorrow

Mysuru: In view of the mega Divisional level ‘Saulabhya Vitharana’ convention organised by the State Government marking the completion of four years of its governance at Maharaja’s College Grounds, the City Police have announced traffic diversions and regulated vehicular movement at roads leading to the venue as mentioned below:

Parking arrangements for outstation vehicles

  1. Vehicles coming from Hunsur Road side to park at Village Hostel premises, Swimming Pool Road and Kalamandira: The motorists should take a right turn at the Hinkal Ring Road junction to reach the Ring Road and proceed further passing through Bogadi Road junction, left turn, Bogadi Road, Manasagangothri Entrance Gate junction to reach Village Hostel.

Southern part of Swimming Pool Road from 1st Main to 16th Main: Take right turn at Hinkal Ring Road Junction – Ring Road – Bogadi Road junction – Left turn – Bogadi Road – VMD Junction – Right turn at Government Press Junction – Right turn at Swimming Pool Road Junction  to reach Swimming Pool Road.

Kalamandira: Take right turn at Hinkal Ring Road Junction – Bogadi Road junction – Left turn – Bogadi Road – VMD Junction – Left turn at Government Press Junction – Kalamandira Road to reach Kalamandira parking lot.

  1. Vehicles coming from H.D. Kote Road side to park at Maharaja Junior College premises and Geetha Road: Take left turn at Srinivasa Circle – JLB Road – Vedanta Hemmige Circle – RTO Circle – MUDA Circle – Rotary Circle – Devaraja Urs Road Junction – Left turn to reach  Maharaja Junior College premises.

Geetha Road: Take left turn at Srinivasa Circle – JLB Road – Vedanta Hemmige Circle – RTO Circle – Left turn at Ramaswamy Circle to reach Geetha Road parking lot.

  1. Vehicles coming from Nanjangud Road side to park at Vani Vilas Road:  Travel via Yele Thota Junction – Nanjangud Road – Left turn at JLB Road Junction – JLB Road – Vedanta Hemmige Circle – Left turn at RTO Circle to reach Vani Vilas Road parking lot.
  2. Vehicles coming from T. Narasipur Road side to park at Maharaja Junior College: Travel via T. Narasipur Road – Lalitha Mahal Road Junction – Boulevard Circle – Race Course Circle – Truck Terminal Road – Left turn at B.N. Road Junction – JLB Road – Chamundipuram Circle – Vedanta Hemmige Circle – RTO Circle – Ramaswamy Circle – MUDA Circle – Rotary Circle – Left turn at Devaraja Urs Road Junction to reach Maharaja Junior College premises.
  3. Vehicles coming from Bengaluru Road side to park at Scouts and Guides Grounds: Travel via Dandi Maramma Road junction – Link Road – Millennium Circle – Nelson Mandela Road – Highway Circle – Old RMC Circle – Seshadri Iyer Road – Right turn at JK Grounds Junction – Railway Station Circle – Left turn – Dasappa Circle – Metropole Circle – Right turn – Hunsur Road – Arch Gate to reach Scouts and Guides Grounds.

Parking arrangements for dignitaries, scribes

  1. Parking for dignitaries’ vehicles behind the programme venue at Maharaja’s College Grounds: Travel via JLB Road – West turn at MUDA Circle – Bogadi Road – Kautilya Circle – Railway Gate entrance to reach parking lot.
  2. LMV vehicles and two-wheelers of journalists and District-level officials: Parking on the front side and back side of the gymnasium building at Maharaja’s College Grounds and Maharaja’s College Hockey Grounds.

Those coming from the northern side of the venue to pass via JLB Road – MUDA Circle – Kautilya Circle – Krishnaraja Boulevard – Maharaja’s College Grounds Tank Road to reach the parking lot. Those coming from southern side to pass via JLB Road – RTO Circle – Vani Vilas Road – Krishnaraja Boulevard – Ekalavya Circle – Maharaja’s College Grounds Tank Road to reach the parking lot. Those coming from eastern side to travel via Chamaraja Double Road – Ramaswamy Circle – Ekalavya Circle – Maharaja’s College Grounds Tank Road to reach the parking lot.

Those coming from the western side  to travel via Fire Brigade Junction – Under-bridge Road – Ekalavya Road – Maharaja’s College Grounds Tank Road to reach the parking lot.

  1. Police vehicles to be parked on right side of Maharaja’s Grounds dais: Ekalavya Circle – Entry from the entrance at southern edge of the eastern part of Maharaja’s College Grounds.

Parking arrangements for general public

  1. LMV vehicles of participants to be parked at (a) Ursu Boarding School premises: Those coming from the southern side to pass via JLB Road – RTO Circle – Vani Vilas Road – Krishnaraja Boulevard to reach Ursu Boarding School.

(b) Maharaja’s College Centenary Hall premises: Those coming from the western side to pass via Kantharaja Urs Road – Shyam Studio Junction – K.G. Koppal Under Bridge –  Krishnaraja Boulevard – Ekalavya Circle to reach Maharaja’s College Centenary Hall premises.

(c) Yuvaraja’s College premises: Those coming from the eastern side to pass  Chamaraja Double Road – Ramaswamy Circle – JLB Road – Left turn at MUDA Circle to reach Yuvaraja’s College premises.

(d) Open space at the northern side of DC Office and at the edge of the road at the eastern side of Oval Grounds: Those coming from the northern side to pass JLB Road – Metropole Circle – Right turn – Hunsur Road – Arch Gate – DC office Junction to reach the parking lot.

  1. Two-wheelers of participants to be parked from Ekalavya Circle to Archaeology building along the compound of Centenary Bhavan: Pass via Ramaswamy Circle – Ekalvya Circle right turn to reach the parking lot.

The reach the edge of the road in the eastern side of Oval grounds pass via Ramaswamy Circle – JLB Road and Left turn at MUDA Circle.
