Traffic rule violations: 921 cases booked

Rs. 7,55,200 penalty collected from May 6 to 25

Mysore/Mysuru: The Mysuru City Traffic Police, who were booking cases and penalising those moving around in vehicles during lockdown, have now begun their operation against those moving in the vehicles unnecessarily after 7 pm , triple riding, one-way rule violators, speaking over mobile phone while riding and driving etc.

The Traffic Police personnel of Devaraja, Krishnaraja, V.V. Puram, Narasimharaja and Siddarthanagar Traffic Police Stations, who conducted operations in their respective jurisdictions from May 6 to 25 have booked a total of 921 cases and have collected a total fine of Rs. 7,55,200 from the offenders, said Assistant Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Sandesh Kumar.
