Training in Bhil Tribal Painting at IGRMS from June 20

Mysuru: Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS), National Museum of Mankind, Mysuru, will hold an Education Programme under ‘Do and Learn’ series on Bhil Tribal Painting from Madhya Pradesh.

The training will be given by the well-known artist Sher Singh from Madhya Pradesh from June 20 to 29. The 10-day training is open to public. Interested participants may contact J. Vijay Mohan, Officer-In-Charge, IGRMS, Wellington House, Irwin Road, Mysuru or Ph: 0821-2448231. Raw material cost will have to be borne by the participants. Individually prepared items are issued to the participants after the training programme. Each participant will be given certificate of appreciation.

Painting classes at Ganabharathi

Traditional Mysore and Tanjore Painting classes are being held  at Ganabharathi in Kuvempunagar, Mysuru. Interested may contact Ph: 2560313 between 5.30 pm and 7.30 pm.
