Training programme for Police Officers held

Mysore/Mysuru: The training programme organised jointly by the Mysuru District Police Unit, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Mysuru City Police Unit and District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) for the Child Welfare Police Officers and the Officials working at Juvenile Justice System was inaugurated by DLSA Member-Secretary and senior Civil Court Judge Devaraj Bhute at the Conference Hall in SP Office premises recently.

Superintendent of Police R. Chethan presided. Additional Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr. B.N. Nandini, District Children Protection Officer Arundathi and Child Welfare Committee member Dhananjay were the chief guests. Mysuru City and District Police Officers and other staff attended the training programme.

Training included information about various Acts for child protection and rights, legal action and rescue operation method used to protect/rescue children left for begging and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) used during such operations.
