Treat mask as part of your body: Suttur Swamiji

April 25, 2021

Mysore/Mysuru: Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji has opined that mask must be considered as part of our body till Corona crisis comes under control.  “My appeal to citizens is to always wear face mask, maintain social distance, take vaccination and stay inside homes as much as possible in the interest of everyone,” he said in a press release.

The Seer said the pandemic was spreading everywhere and has become uncontrollable. Deaths were happening owing to shortage of medicine and oxygen. So, it was better to be self-disciplined by strictly following the safety protocols.

People have to be very careful now than before. It was not the time to indulge in blame game. Need of the hour was to fight against the pandemic by taking vaccination and also convince others to get the jab, he noted.

Everyone must wear mask compulsorily by treating it as a portion of our body. Hands must be sanitised regularly to kill the virus, the Seer said and advised people to spend quality time with their family members.

Continuing, he said carelessness should not cause irreparable damage to families. In the interest of family members everyone must be extra vigilant. Every citizen must discharge his duty as Corona warrior and help society overcome this crisis.

“Do not allow pandemic to go scot-free. Whenever you have time, involve in puja, meditation and prayer for the welfare of Universe,” the Swamiji appealed.
