Tree falls, roof damaged

February 14, 2020

Mysore/Mysuru: A tree fell on a house damaging its roof at Gokulam on Feb. 12 night.

The house located opposite Suvarna Park on Old Post Office Road in Gokulam 1st Stage, belongs to Muddanna and Siddamma.

The house owners and neighbours have alleged that though the tree fell on the house and damaged the roofing sheets, the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) officials have not bothered to clear the fallen tree.

Karnataka Rakshana Vedike District President K. Madesh and other office-bearers, who rushed to the spot warned of staging a protest in front of MCC Zone-4 Office today, if the MCC officials fail to take action.
