India’s 71st Independence Day was celebrated at the Amphitheatre in Jnanasarovara International Residential School (JIRS) premises with traditional pomp and gaiety. Chief guest Ramanna, retired Additional Deputy Commissioner, hoisted the Tricolour. Narayan Kundar, Trustee-Member, presided over the function. Pavan Kumar Shetty, CEO, the young trustee and entrepreneur, welcomed the gathering. The celebration, comprising speeches, aerobics, pyramid, patriotic songs and dances, came to an end with the distribution of sweets.
