The 71st I-Day was celebrated at The Orchids Public School premises at Kumarabeedu. Retired Col. M. Sambamurthy, Sena Medal, was the chief guest. Students of The Orchids Public School, The Orchids School and Pandit’s Orchids PU College showcased their patriotism through songs, speeches, karate performance and dances and created an electrifying atmosphere of gratitude towards the freedom fighters and determination towards becoming excellent future citizens. Seen in the picture are head girl Arya and head boy Akash of the school with PT teacher Kumar, HM Suresh, chief guest retired Col. Sambamurthy, Secretary of Institution Ullas Pandit and Principal Yeshoda Pandit.
