Mysore/Mysuru: As part of World  Environment Day celebrations, Avadhoota Datta Peetham Junior Pontiff Sri Datta Vijayananda Theertha Swamiji, distributed 2,000 Tulasi saplings to the devotees recently at the Ashram in city.

Speaking on the occasion, the Junior Swamiji called upon the devotees to plant at least one Tulasi sapling instead of many crops. “Tulasi, a medicinal plant, treats many diseases. Everyone must join hands to conserve environment,” he added.
