Turning a blind eye…

February 26, 2019

Star of Mysore had carried a news item titled ‘Cleanliness lesson to Mysureans from foreign woman’ yesterday (Feb.25, 2019).

The Israeli woman Daariya (inset), along with a few local youths on Sunday, had collected garbage strewn in the Lake premises and placed it before the garbage bins in Kukkarahalli Lake, which is maintained by University of Mysore (UoM).

It is three days and still the garbage in plastic bags continues to lie without being cleared.

Sadly, added to this, there is more filth gathered in front of the garbage bags. Will the University authorities, without turning a blind eye, wake up at least now and see that the garbage is cleared on a regular basis?
