Mysore/Mysuru: In separate cases, a 25-year-year-old homemaker and a 21-year-old youth, unable to bear constant severe stomach pain, have committed suicide at their residences in Metagalli and Saraswathipuram Police limits in city.

In the first case, a 25-year-old woman, unable to bear severe stomach pain committed suicide by consuming poison at her house in Kumabarakoppal yesterday.

The deceased is Geetha. Though she was rushed to a private hospital, she breathed her last yesterday evening, according to Metagalli Police, who have registered a case.

In the second case, a 21-year-old youth, who too was suffering from constant stomach pain, committed suicide by hanging self at his house in Janata Nagar yesterday morning.

The deceased is K. Ravikumar, a native of Kumbarakoppal, who was residing on Ganapathi Temple Street at Janata Nagar.

Saraswathipuram Police have registered a case.
