Woman succumbs to injuries at hospital

Mysore/Mysuru: A woman, who had sustained serious head injuries after falling from the scooter on Nov. 25 in front of Big Bazaar on JLB Road and admitted to a private hospital has succumbed to injuries at the hospital yesterday morning.

The deceased is Kamala (68), wife of Jayashankar and a resident of Sonar Street near Shanthala Theatre.

On Nov. 25, Kamala along with her husband were proceeding on their scooter from Ramaswamy Circle towards RTO (West) side, when she lost balance and fell from the scooter in front of Big Bazaar at about 11 am injuring her head seriously. 

Though she was admitted to JSS Hospital, she succumbed to injuries yesterday morning at the hospital, according to K.R. Traffic Inspector H.N. Vinay, who has registered a case.
