Two- day district level Brahmin convention from Dec.15

Mysuru: Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy will inaugurate the two-day Mysore City and District-level Brahmin Convention organised by District Brahmin Association on Dec.15 and 16 at Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashrama premises on Nanjangud Road in city.

Disclosing this to media persons at Pathrakarthara Bhavan, Association President D.T. Prakash said that the CM will inaugurate the convention on Dec. 15 at 10 am.

Pejawar Seer Sri Visveshatheertha Swamiji,  Parakala Mutt Seer Sri Swatantra Abhinavagheesha Brahmatantra Swatantra Swamiji, Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji, junior pontiff Sri Vijayananda Swamiji will grace the occasion.

Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President Dinesh Gundu Rao and Revenue Minister R.V. Deshpande will release the souvenir.

MLAs S.A. Ramdas and Suresh Kumar, K.N. Narayanaswamy, U.B. Venkatesh, former MLA Y.S.V. Dutta and other elected representatives will take part.  

Akhila Karnataka Brahmana Mahasabha President K.N. Venkatanarayan will preside.

Various cultural and religious programmes, discussions and interactions are organised as part of the convention.  

Shobhayatra will be taken out from Shankar Mutt premises till Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashrama on Nanjangud Road.

Prakash has appealed all the members of Trimathastha Brahmin community in all taluks to take part in the convention to drive home the message to the government about their unification besides seeking fulfilment of their various demands.

Working President of the Convention Gopal Rao, M. Krishnadas Puranik,  General Secretary and Corporator M.V. Ramprasad, Treasurer N .Suresh, Community leaders M.D. Parthasarathy, Ajay Shastri and others were present at the press meet.
