Two-day workshop on “Advance Java and J2EE” held

Mysuru: A two-day workshop on “Advance Java and J2EE” was held recently at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysuru, in association with ISTE Student Chapter and CSI Student Chapter in the  ISE Department.

The workshop was inaugurated by  chief guest Arokia Swamy of Taurus Technologies, Mysuru. VVCE Principal Dr. B. Sadashive Gowda presided. The first day of the workshop concentrated on the fundamentals of Core Java.  

The topics covered were introduction to Java, usage of basic methods in Java and other useful inbuilt methods using Netbeans IDE. The resource person also gave hands-on practice to the students and helped them debug the errors on the IDE. The second day was about learning streams, files and their usage. The workshop was co-ordinated by Prof. K.N. Prashanth Kumar and Prof.Gowrishankar.
