Two deers that strayed into village caught

Hunsur: Two deers which had strayed into Ambedkar Colony at Hosur near Veeranahosahalli Forest Range in the taluk yesterday morning, were caught by the  villagers after much efforts.

The deers which are said to have strayed into the colony from nearby forest were spotted at 8 am yesterday, following which the villagers caught them and tied them up.

Forest Officers Ravindra and Chandresh, who rushed to the spot ,took the deers into possession and took measures for letting off the deers into the forest. The officials have lauded the villagers for catching the deers alive at a time when they are hunted for meat.
