Two held for cricket betting: Rs. 1,03,500 cash, TV, laptop, six mobile phones seized

Mysore/Mysuru: City Crime Branch (CCB) Police, on Aug. 2 raided a house in Hebbal Police limits and arrested two persons who were indulging in cricket betting during West Indies and India T20 match by collecting betting money through Google Pay and PhonePe.

Following the raid, the Police have seized Rs. 1,03,500 cash, one TV, one laptop, six mobile phones and papers containing the list of betting details from them. A case has been registered at Hebbal Police Station.

DCP (Crime and Traffic) M.S. Geetha Prasanna and CCB ACP C.N. Ashwathnarayan guided CCB Inspector A. Mallesh and staff Hiranaiah, Shivaraju and K.G. Srinivas in the nabbing and seizing operation.
