Two held for stealing batteries from KSRTC buses

Mysuru: Vijayanagar Police have arrested two persons on charges of stealing batteries from old and unused buses parked at the KSRTC Bus Depot in Vijayanagar here.

The accused have been identified as Ravi and Kumar.

The duo, along with another person, was stealing the batteries on Sunday which was noticed by Security Guard Manjunath.

On seeing Manjunath, the trio tried to flee and Manjunath, who managed to catch hold of Ravi and Kumar along with the batteries, handed them over to Vijayanagar Police. The Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
