Two held for selling elephant tusks

The City Crime Branch (CCB) Police, acting on a tip off, have arrested two persons near Jaganmohan Palace on charges of selling elephant tusks and have seized two tusks worth about Rs. 25 lakh from them.

The arrested have been identified as 29-year-old Manikanta of Sargur and 32-year- old Gangadhar, a resident of Gundlupet.

CCB Inspector Raju and staff took part in the nabbing and seizing operation.
