Two killed as car rams into vegetable-laden goods auto

Mysuru:  Two persons were killed on the spot when a car rammed into the goods auto in which they were carrying vegetables at Devegowda Circle on Bannur Ring Road junction here in the wee hours of today.

The deceased have been identified as Manjunath (30), son of Krishnegowda and Siddegowda (40), son of Honnegowda, both residents of Hanumanahalli in Bannur hobli.

Manjunath and Siddegowda were bringing vegetables in a goods auto from Bannur to city, when a Maruti Swift car coming from T. Narsipur side on the Ring Road, rammed into the goods auto at about 2.30 am today, killing Manjunath and Siddegowda on the spot.

Siddarthanagar Traffic Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
