Two riders injured in bus-bike collision

Mysuru: Two motorcyclist sustained serious injuries when the two wheeler they were riding was knocked down by a bus near KSRTC Layout on Mysuru-T. Narsipur Road last evening.

The injured, who have been identified as Yogaraj, 23, of Mysuru and Varad S. Digadi, 24, of Belagavi are being treated at a private hospital in city. Both the injured youths are students at Government Engineering College in Chamarajanagar.

Yogaraj and Varad were returning to Mysuru in a motorcycle from T. Narasipur at about 4.30 pm, when a T. Narasipur-bound private bus (KA-06 C-3388) knocked down the motorcycle near KSRTC Layout. The locals shifted the two in an ambulance to a private hospital. Siddarthanagar Traffic Police have registered a case in this regard.
