Two seriously injured as car topples on Mysuru-Bengaluru Expressway

Mandya: Two persons suffered serious injuries while three others sustained minor injuries when the car in which they were travelling toppled on Mysuru-Bengaluru Expressway near Chikkamandya yesterday afternoon.

The seriously injured are 30-year-old Arjun and 25-year-old Manjunath G. Adiga of Bengaluru. All the five occupants of the car were travelling from Bengaluru to Mysuru and when they neared Chikkamandya, one of the tyres of the car burst resulting in the car toppling twice on the Expressway.

Luckily, there were no vehicles proceeding in front of the car. The injured have been admitted to Mandya’s MIMS Hospital.

Mandya Central Police, who visited the spot, conducted an inspection besides registering a case in this regard.
