Two vehicles damaged as trees fall in Vidyaranyapuram

October 12, 2023

Mysore/Mysuru: A Maruti Van and a Zen car were damaged when two trees fell on them near Gini Park in Vidyaranyapuram here in the early hours of today.

Both the vehicle owners, who reside near the Park, had parked their vehicles next to the compound of the park last night.

Following heavy rains yesterday night, the soil may have loosened and the trees fell on the van and the car, resulting in minor damages to the vehicles.

Corporator B.V. Manjunath, who reached the spot, summoned Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Abhaya-1 team led by D. Manjunath, to clear the fallen trees. The Abhaya-1 team members later cleared the fallen trees.
