Two-wheeler lifter held: One Royal Enfield bike worth about Rs. 1 lakh recovered

Mysuru:  The City Crime Branch (CCB) Police, who conducted an operation at Mohammed Sait Block in city on July 13, have arrested a bike lifter and have recovered a stolen Royal Enfield bike worth about Rs. 1 lakh  from him.

The accused has been identified as 20-year-old Rehamathulla Shariff, a resident of Kyathamaranahalli.

During interrogation, the accused is said to have confessed to stealing the bike in Lashkar Police limits.

DCP Dr. Vikram V. Amathe and CCB ACP B.R. Lingappa supervised CCB Inspector R. Jagadish and staff in the nabbing and recovery operation.
