Ugadi Sangeethotsava at Mysore Palace from Mar. 22

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of Ugadi Sangeethotsava, the Mysore Palace Board has organised several cultural programmes from Mar. 22 to Mar. 24 at the Palace premises.

The Palace will be illuminated between 7 pm and 9.30 pm on all three days.

Cultural programmes

Mar. 22 – 5.30 pm to 6 pm: Mangala Vadya and Saxophone recital by Yadhu Kumar and troupe.

6 pm to 6.30 pm: Panchanga Sravana by Veda Brahma Sridhar Sharma and Palace priests.

6.30 pm to 7.15 pm: Inau-guration of Ugadi Sangeethotsava programme.

7.15 pm to 9.30 pm: Musical evening by Singer Raghu Dixit and  troupe.

Mar. 23 – 6 pm to 7 pm: Karnataka Police Band; 7 pm to 9.30 pm: Guru Kiran Nights.

Mar. 24 – 6 pm to 7 pm: English Police Band; 7 pm to 9.30 pm: Music programme by Vasuki Vaibhav and troupe.

No Sound and Light Show

The Sound and Light Show at Mysore Palace, which is held between 7 pm and 8 pm every day, has been cancelled from Mar. 20 to 26 in view of preparations for Ugadi Sangeethotsava.
