Ugadi Sangeethotsava at Mysore Palace from tomorrow

Mysore Palace Board has organised the following music programmes as part of Ugadi Sangeethotsava at Mysore Palace premises in city from tomorrow (Apr. 2) to Apr. 4:

Apr. 2 – 5.30 pm: District Minister S.T. Somashekar guest of honour, MLA S.A. Ramdas presides; Mangalavadya and saxophone recital by Yadukumar and troupe; 6 pm: Panchanga Shravana; 6.30 pm: Inauguration of Ugadi Sangeethotsava Programme; 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm: Folk songs recital by singer Ananya Bhat and troupe.

Apr. 3 – 6 pm: Police Band; 7 pm to 9 pm: Grand Jugalbandhi – Sangeetha Sambhrama by Dr. Mysore Manjunath (violin) and Pt. Praveen Godkhindi (flute). Apr. 4 – 6 pm: Veena recital by Dr. S.V. Sahana; 7 pm to 9 pm: Laya Lahari by Vid. H.L. Shivashankaraswamy and troupe.  NOTE: As part of Ugadi Sangeethotsava, the Palace will be illuminated between 7 pm and 8.30 pm.
