Un-motorable Kalidasa Road

November 2, 2020

Sir,

Since a couple of months, Kalidasa Road is in a totally neglected state. This road is one of the main roads of Mysuru having a lot of medical facilities, good number of banks and other commercial establishments. Also it is one of the main roads leading to Vijayanagar Layout.

The stretch of the road from Panchavati Circle connecting to Vijayanagar has become totally un-motorable with plenty of potholes and intermittent road cuttings.

Vehicles are constrained to move very slowly on this stretch and if by chance a heavy vehicle is moving en-route, entire traffic gets blocked.

I fail to comprehend how MCC can keep its eyes closed towards the hardship faced by the motorists on this stretch since a couple of months.
