Uncleared garbage, an eyesore in Bannimantap

Garbage heap, which is left uncleared behind Sujatha Hotel at Bannimantap in Ward No. 17, is not only an eyesore but also causing health hazards to the residents living in the surroundings and with recent rains, foul smell is emanating from it. Residents said that despite lodging complaints, no action has been taken till date and have urged the authorities concerned to take steps to clear the garbage at the earliest.
