Undertrial dies in jail

Mysuru: An undertrial, who was in jail in an attempt to murder case, collapsed in the jail and died while being shifted to Jayadeva Hospital yesterday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Fayaz (38), a resident of Ashokapuram in city.

Fayaz was in the jail since one-and-a-half months.

A case has been registered  at Mandi Police Station in this regard.
