Mysuru, Sept.4 (KS)- Varuna Police have fished out a body of an unidentified man floating in the Varuna Sub-Canal near the agricultural field of one Patel Hatti Puttaswamy on Sept.2 at about 4.45 pm.

The unidentified man is aged between 45 and 50 years and was wearing a full arm striped shirt and black pant.

It is suspected that the deceased may have slipped and fell into the Canal while washing his hands and legs or may have committed suicide. The Police, who have fished out the body from the Canal, have shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary in Mysuru. The kith and kin of the deceased, if any, may contact Varuna Police Station on Ph: 0821-2594411.
