The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D in Chemistry to G.S. Lingaraju for his thesis ‘Synthesis, Characterisation and Biological Studies of New Isoxazoline, Thiazole and Pyrazole Derivatives’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. M.P. Sadashiva.

H.P. Komala has been awarded Ph.D in Environmental Science by the UoM for her thesis ‘Evaluation of Firewood  Species for Sustainable Utilisation and Helath Management in Rural Areas of Chmarajanagar District’ [Guide: Dr. A.G. Devi Prasad].

Nataraju has been awarded Ph.D in English by the UoM for his thesis ‘Yann Martel’s Fiction: A study of Transnational Identities’ [Guide: Dr. C.P. Ravichandra].

Nasheed Jafri has been awrded Ph.D in English by the UoM for his thesis ‘The Centre as the Periphery Displacement and Identity in the Works of Select Women Writers from South Asia’ [Guide: Dr. K.M. Chandra].

Prasanna Kumar has been awarded Ph.D in Kannada by the UoM for his thesis ‘Adunika Kannada Mahakavyagala Chandassina Swaroopa’ [Guide: Dr. H.T. Venkateshamurthy].

M.C. Ravikumar has been awarded Ph.D in Botany by the UoM for his thesis ‘Evaluation of Enriched Botanical Soil Amendments for Managements of Early Blight of Tomato caused by Alternaria  Solani’ [Guide: Dr. Rajkumar H. Garampalli].

R.A. Roopa has been awarded Ph.D in Chemistry for her thesis ‘Development and Validation of Enzymatic Analytical Probes for the Substrates of Biological Significance’ submitted under the guidance of     Dr. K. Mantelingu.
