Upendra campaigns for Uttama Prajakeeya Party candidate

April 2, 2019

Pandavapura: “Persons who get remuneration for working for people should come to politics, so please vote for Uttama Prajakeeya Party (UPP) candidate,” requested Party President and cine actor Upendra.

He was addressing the crowd in town yesterday, while campaigning for C.P. Divakar, Prajakeeya Party candidate for Lok Sabha elections.

“Persons who are getting wages for serving people should come to politics, not leaders.  State Budget is Rs.2 lakh crore which is people’s money. You are paying tax for everything, for having meal, drinking tea, washing clothes. In democracy, people are supreme. You need not have any leaders,” he said.

“UPP candidates are ready to work 24 hours a day, so people should decide that they do not need politics (Rajakeeya) but instead need Prajakeeya and so vote for Prajakeeya party candidate,” he urged.

UPP candidate for Lok Sabha election C.P. Divakar and others were present on the occasion.
