Utter chaos at RT-PCR Testing Centre

April 28, 2021

Sir,

Utter chaos prevails at a Hospital in Vijayanagar conducting RT-PCR test — right from the counter issuing tokens to the counter issuing test reports.

At none of the counters neither social distancing nor wearing of the mask is adhered to. After the token is received, people sit haphazardly in groups.

At the swab issuing counter and the cash counter there is absolutely no social distancing. They have clubbed two swab issuing counters at one table and always more than three to four persons stand in front of this counter very closely.

The worst area is the report issuing counter as everyone rush to this area to collect their reports. I appeal to the Hospital authorities to be more responsible and streamline its operations of RT-PCR testing.
