Mysore/Mysuru: As many as 29,195 persons have received the jab on the third day of the mega Covid Vaccination Drive in the district yesterday.

Over 170 vaccination sites have been created both in city and taluks to inoculate people above 18 years.

A few persons faced difficulty in getting vaccination due to technical glitches in uploading details of Aadhaar in CoWIN portal. Some were asked to come the next day following delay in registration. A family of five persons received vaccination at Indiranagar Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC) and shared their happiness with SOM. A big queue was seen in front of Chamaraja Double Road UPHC. Some returned home due to end of the day’s quota at a vaccination booth. In total, vaccination has been going on at a brisk pace at Karnataka Public School, Balodyana, JSS School, JSS Public School and at other places.
