Mysuru: As part of National Doctors’ Day (July 1), Anveshana Seva Trust, Mysuru, will bestow ‘Vaidya Ratna Shri’ award on six doctors at an event to be held on July 12 at Institution of Engineers-India (IEI) on JLB Road in city at 10.30 am.  

Bengaluru’s  Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research Director Dr. B. Dinesh will inaugurate the programme. Mysuru’s JSS Hospital Director Dr. C.P. Madhu will preside over the event.  

Mysuru’s Jayadeva Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. K.S. Sadananda will offer floral tribute to the portrait of Dr. B.C. Roy. Diabetecian Dr. V. Lakshminarayana and Chutuku Sahitya Parishat Founder Dr. M.G.R. Urs will deliver talks on the achievements of Dr. B.C. Roy.  

Rajashekar Hospital Founder-President Dr. H.B. Rajashekar, Anveshana Seva Trust Founder-President Arya Amarnathraje Urs and Vaidyavartha Prakashana Director HMT Lingaraje Urs will be the chief guests.
